SCORE International Ministries - Medical and Dental Mission Trip

A team from Living Grace joined fifty-some other volunteers from the US on a week+ trip the early part of 2026, to use their medical, dental, and construction skills on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. The first part of the week, this large group of dentists, doctors, nurses, and other volunteers, set up clinics throughout the week, in both a small school and a church, on a mission compound that was part of an urban village. Then they moved their mobile clinic to a large church in the heart of a major city the last part of the week. Needs were diagnosed, medical and dental care were given, medicine was administered to those who needed it, and the love of Christ, plus the message of the Gospel, was shared with all ages of people who came for care. A construction team spent the week building a kitchen storage shed at the urban mission compound. The entire team stayed at Score Intl's mission compound in the city, when not working in the field. Every night the whole group gathered for worship and devotion. The team had multiple opportunities to meet and work with local missionaries and hear of their experiences and needs. Perhaps hearing all this has peaked your interest in experiencing such a trip. No worries. This trip is done annually, so stay tuned for news about future opportunities.

Hayat Jadida's Women's English Conversation Club

Living Grace was approached a number of weeks ago by Hayate Jadida (New Life), regarding a Syrian refugee family in need. The family is from rural Damascus. They fled Syria to Lebanon because of the war and lived in Lebanon for 13 years. On January 13, 2025, they came to the United States. On September 1, 2026, they moved to Toledo, Ohio.
Originally, they had many living needs, which were met by a fellow FEC church, but there are still a few left. They are still in need of a washer and dryer (currently determining with apartment management if electric or gas is required). They are still in need of the different rug/carpet sizes.
