Missions and Outreach

A team from Living Grace will be taking a trip 2/27/26 - 3/6/26, to use their medical and dental skills in the Dominican Republic. They will be taking mobile medical and dental clinics into the sugar cane fields. Please be praying in advance for the success and the blessing of this upcoming trip. Update: Got the donations delivered. Originally, the sister was supposed to greet us at the apartment, but she was called into work last minute. The brothers were home, but sleeping. It took a few phone calls, but we got one of them out of bed and everything into their apartment. There was some conversation with him, albeit through Nashwan, as he interpreted. Nashwan also prayed (in Arabic?) for the family. He has asked that we (i.e. you all) pray for continued meetings with the family. The father and sister are very interested to hear about the Christian faith. A blessed morning for all, to say the least. Thanks again for your donations. They were well received.

Update: All items have been donated! Thank you so much! The lot will be delivered directly to the family on Friday, July 25th. We'll share about the experience afterwards.

There is a sister and her two brothers who live in a separate apartment from the rest of their family, because their family was too large to stay in one single apartment. They are in their younger twenties. They are in need of items for day to day living in their apartment. Please contact Dirk Albring to arrange drop off of any donation you can offer. The sister and brothers could use help with the following:
- Deep plates (it's a thing)
- 6 spoons
- a large plate for serving rice for example
- 2 large pots
- a ladle for soup and rice
- salad bowls
- cups for water 4
- cups for drinking tea 4
- a table for the living room (coffee table)
- small tables for serving tea (light weight and easy to move)
- a TV and a table for it
- a floor lamp
- a wooden bed for one of the brothers because he cannot use the iron bed, because it creates electric and magnetic charges that affect his body,
- detergents (cleaning supplies for clothing and dishes).

Living Grace will be hosting a booth at the Corn Fest again this year on Saturday, August 9th from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM! This is a great evangelism and outreach opportunity. We will be passing out bottled water and Gospel tracts, offering face painting for the kids, and having a gift card giveaway! Pastor Jim will have a short evangelism training the week before to help equip us for sharing the Gospel.
